aaaah- vacation
June 3rd, 2007
We just spent a wonderful weekend in Destin, Florida- eating, relaxing and playing in the ocean. The boys were well- behaved and happy and we were relaxed and happy. It was super.
Started my online library course- cataloging and classification. It’s hard getting used to a total online format, but I like it so far. I will really have to pace myself and stay on top of assignments.
Long day

Being sick stinks! I am going to work anyway today. How many times have I done this and gotten more sick? oh- every time. The boys are coughing up a storm but no one seems to have a fever. It’s going to be a looooooooooong day.
Pizza

Crozet Pizza is so yummy. HAVE to get back on track tomorrow with counting points and being healthy. I’m going to try athletic conditioning class with M at the gym tomorrow. That should be fun, although I’m nervous about all the running. M says that I can just ride the bike during the running parts, but I hope I don’t get caught up in all the competition!
After Athletic Conditioning we are going to the Albemarle fair to work at the funnel cake stand with William’s boy scout group. The fair looks awesome.
So how do I start?
August 2nd, 2006
My first blog post ever! How exciting! I decided to start my own blog because I enjoy reading other people’s so much. I also would like to chronicle and organize my feelings as the first anniversary of Hurricane Katrina approaches. I wish that I had kept a blog for that. The boys and I went to Chris Greene Lake to escape the heat today. I think they were both getting tired of the water park ( I know I was!) and this was a nice diversion. The water was so warm, though and the air so hot, that you just had to sit in the water without moving for the whole time. Tomorrow, M’s dad and stepmom are coming for a visit and I’m looking forward to showing off C-ville. Also, my first weigh-in at WW. Nervous about that! I manage to stay on program throughout the week and then have a really hard time when the weekend rolls around. I figure I’ll get in the groove once school starts again (one more week- aaaaaagh!)
